Uni Hub Spencer Gulf is gearing up for mid-year enrolments, with a Bachelor of Business and Master of Business Administration (MBA) high on the list of university qualifications on offer.
The degrees are delivered by Flinders University, with students supported locally through Uni Hub’s Port Augusta and Port Pirie campuses.
Uni Hub CEO, Anita Crisp said the impact of Covid-19 has resulted in an increasing level of interest by people looking to study.
“For people who might have been thinking about university to upskill or even change their career path, it’s a really good time to jump in,” she said.
“The Bachelor of Business provides a really broad field of study, covering everything from economics, law and accounting, management, marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship, human resource management and options around small business and international business.”
For people who have an existing qualification and might be looking to move into a management role, Ms Crisp says the MBA is an ideal and highly regarded qualification.
“MBA students gain a range of knowledge and skills, from business, leadership and management, through to strategy, with the opportunity to build their entrepreneurial skills,” she said.
Ms Crisp said a recent industry survey across the region indicated a growing need for more professionals with business-related qualifications in the region.
“One of the main aims of Uni Hub is to offer university qualifications that help grow a pool of professionals and skilled workers from right here in our own community,” she said.
“So if you’ve been thinking about study but not sure where to start, we’re here to help.”
