Why Study Early Childhood Education?
There is a growing demand for qualified early childhood educators in Roxby Downs and surrounding communities. This program aims to “Grow Our Own” by supporting local residents to gain the skills and qualifications needed to build a meaningful career in the sector.
By completing this nationally recognised diploma, you’ll be equipped to work in childcare centres, preschools, and other early learning environments, helping children grow and thrive during their most important years.
Program Highlights
Qualification: CHC50121 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Duration: 18 months
Placement: 280 hours of unpaid practical experience
Cost: $300 participant contribution
Support: Delivered with local support from Uni Hub Spencer Gulf
Eligibility: Open to residents of Roxby Downs, Woomera, and Andamooka who already hold CHC30121 or CHC30113
