The Master of Education at Flinders University is designed to enhance current education professionals’ knowledge, skills and capacities in pedagogical, organisational and research leadership.

Pre-requisites
Applicants must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification.
Advanced Entry (1.5 years): applicants who have completed an approved degree or equivalent qualification in education, teaching or a closely related discipline may be eligible to complete a program of 54 units.
Course requirements
The Master of Education consists of 72 units or 54 units depending on the entry level.
The course meets the criteria for Level 9 of the Australian Qualifications Framework and provides flexibility to meet individual needs.
There are two core topics: • EDUC9761 Approaches to Research (4.5 units) • EDUC9719 Independent Research Study (4.5 units)
In addition to the two core topics, students are able to select from over 60 topics covering specialisations in: • Leadership and management • Special education • Cognitive psychology • Well-being and positive mental health • Languages education.
