Course structure
To complete this degree students must complete 32 units.

As part of this degree, you will need to complete practical experience, where interactive hands-on activities, such as experiments and use of specialist equipment, are undertaken.

All students must be able to meet the physical and other professional requirements of practical experience within this degree.

Residential schools
Online students must attend a number of residential schools during their program to obtain experience in practical and professional activities appropriate to the program. Online students should ensure they are able to attend the residential school prior to enrolling in this course.

Professional recognition

This degree is fully accredited by the Surveyors Board of Queensland and is recognised in every Australian state and in New Zealand through reciprocal arrangements. The degree, together with relevant industry experience, enables registration and/or licensing as a cadastral surveyor with the Boards of Surveyors in Australia and New Zealand.

When you graduate, you will be eligible to apply for membership with the Geospatial Council of Australia.
