Duration: 4 Years full-time (or part-time equivalent)

Study allied health programs in occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech pathology. These courses are delivered at the Uni Hub’s Port Pirie University Centre.

COURSE SUMMARY

Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences (Occupational Therapy)

  • Develop the knowledge and skills to become a registered occupational therapist.
  • Work with people to improve their skills and abilities, change the way they do an activity, or modify their environment, to help them live their best life.
  • Strong focus on preparing students for practice with individuals, communities, and families, including rural and remote populations.

 

Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences (Physiotherapy)

  • Develop the knowledge and skills to become a registered physiotherapist.
  • Work to assess and manage people with musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory or neurological conditions or impairments.
  • Strong focus on preparing students for practice with individuals, communities and families, including rural and remote populations.

 

Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences (Speech Pathology)

  • Develop the knowledge and skills to become a registered speech pathologist.
  • Provide diagnosis and treatment strategies to help people who experience difficulty communicating and swallowing.
  • Strong focus on preparing students for practice with individuals, communities and families, including rural and remote populations.
