Fortunately, you have the opportunity to study this qualification with the local support of your Uni Hub. Your Uni Hub means that you will not be studying isolated and that you will have the space, peace and technology to study individually or in groups. This allows you to experience the regional campus environment at no extra cost.
N.B. Third and Fourth year students will be required to travel at their own cost to attend compulsory residential schools interstate at the Noosa Campus in Queensland. Two of the three residentials held in third year and fourth year relate to preparation for your field placements where it is necessary to understand the learning requirements of being a student working in a human service agency. CQUni social work staff have the academic expertise to provide this learning. Also, it will provide the opportunity to share ideas, thoughts, knowledge and expertise with other students in your year group.
The ideal minimum number for delivery of this course is 15 students. Less students will require the Uni Hub to renegotiate the scope of support being offered to students.
