Port Lincoln’s CQUniversity nursing students studying with Uni Hub Spencer Gulf will benefit from a $60,000 sponsorship arrangement with Bendigo Bank.
Bendigo Bank has committed $20,000 per year over three years, allowing the Uni Hub to establish a travel bursary and provide Port Lincoln students with essential financial support for travel costs associated with attending compulsory Residential Schools in Port Pirie.
Port Lincoln University Centre Manager Cate Wuttke expressed her gratitude for the partnership and highlighted the transformative impact it will have on students’ lives.
“Bendigo Bank’s commitment to supporting CQUniversity nursing students is a testament to their understanding of the challenges faced by our students, particularly in regional areas,” Ms. Wuttke said.
“This bursary will ease the financial burden of travel costs and enable more students to complete their training and contribute to the healthcare workforce. We are incredibly grateful for their support and vision.”
